Who we are
Autism Workforce Solutions exists because there is a major gap between talent and opportunity. Many autistic and neurodivergent individuals have valuable skills, strong focus, creativity, and problem-solving abilities, yet they remain significantly underrepresented in the workforce.
For many, the barrier is not capability. It is systems that were never designed with neurodiversity in mind. Traditional hiring processes, workplace communication styles, and rigid job structures often unintentionally exclude qualified candidates.
This matters for several reasons.
Human dignity and independence
Meaningful employment allows people to participate fully in society, achieve financial independence, and build a sense of purpose. Everyone deserves the opportunity to contribute their talents.
Economic impact
When neurodivergent individuals are excluded from the workforce, businesses lose access to valuable talent and economies lose productivity. Inclusive hiring unlocks an underutilized talent pool that can drive innovation and growth.
Better workplaces for everyone
Practices that support neurodivergent employees—clear communication, flexible work structures, thoughtful leadership—often improve the work environment for all employees.
Moving from awareness to action
In recent years, awareness of autism and neurodiversity has increased. What is still missing is practical implementation. Organizations need guidance on how to turn inclusive values into real hiring practices, leadership approaches, and workplace systems.
Autism Workforce Solutions focuses on closing that gap by helping employers build workplaces where neurodivergent talent can succeed.
Because inclusion is not only the right thing to do.
It is a smarter way to build the future of work.
My Story
I’m Karina Gaudier, Founder and CEO of Autism Workforce Solutions. As an autistic professional, I know firsthand the barriers that exist in the job market. Despite my skills, education, and experience, I struggled to find employment in an environment that wasn’t built for neurodivergent individuals like me.
The hiring process was overwhelming, workplace expectations weren’t always clear, and employers often overlooked the strengths that come with being autistic—such as deep focus, innovative thinking, and problem-solving abilities. After facing these challenges, I realized that the system needed to change.
That’s why I created Autism Workforce Solutions—to bridge the gap between businesses and autistic professionals, ensuring that companies recognize the value of neurodiverse employees and implement the right strategies to support them.
